Rockin'- H- Ranch

At Rock'n-H-Ranch, we offer a place of healing for both people and horses.

Our unique horse therapy program serves foster children and those who have experienced trauma and loss. Led by our Horse Program Manager, Amy, we use the incredible connection between humans and horses to help children build trust, develop confidence, and find healing.

We also rescue and rehabilitate horses in need. The horses' journey of recovery mirrors the children's, creating a powerful bond. These rescued horses are an integral part of our camp program, helping at-risk kids find empathy, resilience, and a safe place to connect. At the end of the day, our program is about giving a new life to both horses and children.

Meet Amy

Horse Program Director

My name is Amy Guthrie. I grew up in northern Wisconsin, but met my husband in college and Kansas became my home. My husband and I have been married for twenty years and have five children. I have thirty years of horse experience. God called me to use horses for ministry and when the opportunity presented itself here, I was excited to join the team. I look forward to seeing how God grows the horse program as I seek to bring Him glory.

Book a Session

The heart of our session program is to provide a safe place for children, families and horses to experience the hope, healing and love of Christ. By inviting children and families to come as they are, the session leaders at Rockin’-H-Ranch work through a variety of activities—including horses—to encourage everyone toward genuine hope.

Our leaders tailor each one-on-one session to meet the needs of each individual child or adult. Everything that happens within a session is chosen with the intention to help encourage individuals toward healing, strength, hope, love and trust through a unique and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
